Why would Kenneth Pangborn have challenged Newton to show proof
that he (Pangborn) wasn't a lawyer unless he was trying to give the
impression that he was one? Pangborn is not a lawyer and he can't
legally represent falsely accused dads in court. Dads are better off
hiring REAL lawyers to fight false accusations, not some punky trial
consultant who never had a chance of passing a state bar examination.

That's a good point. Pangborn was clearly trying to make us think
he was an attorney.
