or Steve Garvey (who was hit with a paternity suit before his current
marriage). Larry Byrd, Emilio Estevez, Paul Walker, Kurt Russell, and
I am sure plenty of other well-known white men, but because they are
white, we give them a little leeway. Liz Hurley didn't even know who
her baby daddy WAS, but she's a white woman, so no one condemns
her....
I like Kate too, but in reality, she was the mistress of a married man
for almost 30 years. She is seen as an icon -- the quintessential
independent American woman, but if you read her bio or if you saw her
documentary, she admitted to being selfish and mercenary. She used
her first husband and had Howard Hughes buy the rights to "The
Philadelphia Story" for her -- she hardly sounds too independent to
me....
