There's a growing consensus among religious educated individuals, that
George W. Bush could be the antichrist. Of course the same was said
of Hitler for similar reasons, so I suppose every few generations
there has to be someone who fits the mold of the antiChrist to keep us
all on our toes. But it does all fit in with the prophesies except
for the rise of a powerful rival country to the USA and Britain.
That's really the only unfulfilled prophesy prior to Armageddon.
Jesus said the end will come like a theif in the night, so no one is
really 100% convinced that this is it, but there certainly does seem
to be that idea springing up and discussed. It certainly would seem
that the USA has lost God's grace and is on a downward spiral straight
to hell, and pretty much unnoticed by the bulk of Americans. It's
scary to be among the enlightened Americans who sees what's going on,
but can do nothing to stop it. I think we all ought to fight with all
we have, but I really don't think it's going to do any good. Bush is
too powerful to be stopped.

Ah, cheeesh, Melinda, pleas site our source. I get over 100 emails a day
alone from Biblical America and not one of them ahs declared Bush the
anti-Christ. More like they worship at his feet, except for those few who
believe he's pro-abortion and pro-queer. As for the rest of
"christianity"--ha! I haven't caught Jack van Impe lately, but I seril
doubt that he and Rexella have named Chimp Boy anything but Hero.
Of course the same was said of Hitler for similar reasons, so I suppose every few generations there has to be someone who fits the mold of the antiChrist to keep us all on our toes.

The bible warns that the antichrist will have a huge following of
those who believe themselves to be followers of Christ. Even Satan
disguises himself as an angel of light. THose in religious circles
who are concerned about Bush are those who have a tremendous
understanding of the prophesies, and the warnings in the bible about
how easily fooled Christians will be. consiquently, they don't
eagerly follow the general Christian assembly because they know that
mainstream Christianity is doomed to be fooled by evil.
Still others with strong phophetic understanding, are not guessing who
it is, but are concerned enough about his rise to power in politics
and the likely place, (the USA) where that will occur, that they don't
trust any politician, don't vote, don't take any chances of
"following" anyone in politics out of fear that they too might be
fooled into following the antiChrist. They know that the antichrist
will appear to be a godly man, a religious man, and will undoubedly
take stands on issues that will reinforce his religious committment.
For example, he will most likely be anti-abortion as that is an issue
that will win over many unsuspecting Christians.
I'm not saying this is the case at all. I'm just saying that there is
growing concern among dedicated prophesy studiers, that Bush could be
the antiChrist. But also like I mentioned, the same was thought of
Hitler and Nero and many many others. SOmeday, long from now,
perhaps Bush will be viewed as we view Hitler today. People will
wonder how anyone could have been so STUPID as to support this man.

So it's NOT crazy to believe that the AntiChrist will be the leader of
the United Nations, but it is CRAZY to believe he could be George W.
BUSH. I don't quite get your line of thought.
I never said that I believe it. REREAD MY POSTS! WHERE DID I EVER
SAY That was what I personally believed. Oh I forgot, that doesn't
matter what I SAY, it only matters what you people choose to twist my
words around into what you say I said.
WHAT I WAS SAYING, is that a lot of people are VERY CONCERNED about
BUSH. FROM a religious perspective, they fear he could be the
antichrist. FROM an economical perspective, they believe he will do
so much damage to our economy that a democrat replacement will need
many many years to fix what BUSH HAS RUINED. FROM a politcal view,
people are afraid of his love for war, his lack of concern for the
little guy, the way he has enabled a wider cap to develop between the
rich and the poor, which is always harmful to a society if it goes on
long enough and gets severe enough. People worry the draft will be
reinstated and their sons and daughters will die.
THe only point I was making, NOT THAT ANYONE HERE IS SMART ENOUGH TO
GET IT, is that on every front, at every turn, more and more and more
people, Americans and others are developing a growing concern about
BUSH and it is really worrying people regardless of where their
personal priorities in life lie.
I personally am not making a stand on this growing believe of who he
might be. I'm not saying oh NO, he couldn't be. Nor am I saying that
I think he is. I do know a lot more than most Sunday Christians
about the prophesies perhaps, but I don't know anywhere near enough to
form an opinion either way. Even the Jehovah's Witnesses
organization who are experts on the prophesies, are not trying to make
an official stand on the issue. They have concerns and believe
strongly that the antichrist is among us and that Armageddon will
occur in short order, but they don't have enough proof to say for
sure, who they think the antichrist is. It's probably their belief
that the the UN is strongly involved in the events that lead to
Armageddon, that inspired the series "left behind." I haven't read
the books myself and have only watched one of the movies, but
clearly the movie is based on Witness study and teachings.
But Im sure this will blow over all your heads and you'll go right on
misstateing what I said, and claiming that I am the one telling you
that BUSH IS without a doubt the antichrist, even though I said NO
SUCH THING

The religious circles I was refering to, are those who actually
believe in the bible, rather than those who pretend to every Sunday
morning. Only a small minority of Christians make bible study an
important part of daily life. I'm NOT one of them who does, but I
have tremendous respect for their dedication to God's word. Someday
I would like to feel I have the time to spend more time in bible
study, but for the moment I feel my calling is somewhere else and
there are only so many hours in each of our days. I just like to
share the small amount I do know with doomed souls and alt.adoption is

I do know a lot more than most Sunday Christiansabout the prophesies perhaps, but I don't know anywhere near enough toform an opinion either way. Even the Jehovah's Witnessesorganization who are experts on the prophesies, are not trying to makean official stand on the issue. They have concerns and believestrongly that the antichrist is among us and that Armageddon willoccur in short order, but they don't have enough proof to say forsure, who they think the antichrist is. It's probably their beliefthat the the UN is strongly involved in the events that lead toArmageddon, that inspired the series "left behind." I haven't readthe books myself and have only watched one of the movies, butclearly the movie is based on Witness study and teachings. But Im sure this will blow over all your heads and you'll go right onmisstateing what I said, and claiming that I am the one telling youthat BUSH IS without a doubt the antichrist, even though I said NOSUCH THINGMelinda
