A lot of hopeful adoptive couples will be furious that I help the birthmom keep
her baby this way. In many of these cases, they have only themselves to blame,
as their greed impelled them to pursue their careers instead of breeding, and
now they mourn that it's too late. (Not to imply that's true in all the cases.)
