At http://www.keepyourbaby.com and http://www.exiledmothers.com we find
information on the real horrors birthmothers face.

The question is whether she is making an informed and voluntary decision. Any
hesitation to give her all the information and an unbiased determination of
whether her decision is voluntary puts the adoption industry in the same league
as the 15-year-old guy to whom she "voluntarily" relinquished her virginity.

Expecting the adoption agency or adopters to remind her that she has every
right to keep her baby is like expecting the 15-year-old guy to remind her that
she has every right to keep her virginity. They know what they want.

A determination needs to be made. When there's a close play at home plate, the
determination needs to be made, whether the runner is safe or out. The
determination cannot be made by any of the players because they are on the side
of their respective teams, hoping their team wins the game. That's why it is
made by the umpire, who is not perfect but is not on either side.

Until then, there needs to exist the means for the first mother to pre-empt her
own signature, for a specified period of time, such as by registering a
notarized document with the State that says that she does not want to
relinquish her child, and then any adoption she might sign during that period
is null and void.

An honest person can send somebody into a room with the first mother, and flip
a coin. Heads, you keep the baby. Tails, the baby gets placed for adoption.
Then toss the coin. Now, before she sees whether it's heads or tails, she is
asked which one she hopes it is. That's what she truly wants.

And that's why I endeavoured to warn first mothers of their rights, even on my
website for adoption ads, http://adoption.com.ws

Ciao.
