I am from MS and my employer terminated me 2 days before my 2 week notice ended. I feel he did this to try to keep my bonus and vacation pay. Bonus pay stated in handbook that was to be recieved if employed at end of quarter wich i was and employed at the time bonus checks are cut. Technicaly the checks are cut when the company makes the checks which i was employeed but they are saying now that it means when they are handed out. Vacation pay that i earned that i have not taken would be lost if i was terminated is this possible.

Theoretically, constructive receipt does not occur until the checks are actually made available to the employee. So, if you weren't an active employee on the date they were made available, I don't see any legal recourse for you.

What does the bonus have to do with receiving your accrued vacation?

The state of MS does not require that you receive unused vacation pay under any circumstances. It is perfectly legal for your employer to withhold it.
