Credit Score. How is it determined by the credit bureau. Do they use a
dart board? One of my credit cards gives me free access to my credit
score on their web site. For the last couple of years my score has
bounced up and down for absolutely no reason. In february it was 700+.
In March it dropped to 646. In April it stayed at 646. I have 3 credit
cards and I always pay 4 to 10 times the minimum payment. I always send
the payment the same day I receive the statement or no later than the
next day. I can only deduct that they use a dart board to determine your
credit score.
That is one of the most well-guarded secrets in the industry.

In answer to your question "How is your credit score figured'
One way that your revolving credit score is calculated is of course do you make your payments on time? paying more is always good but what thet realy want to see is what is your high limit available on your credit card? then what do you owe on your credit card?
Example; high limit is $2000.00, and you owe $1850.00, this lwers your score.
high limit is $2000.00 and you owe $800.00, this gives you better score.
The more you owe to your high limit the lower your score. the 3 major credit reporting agencies like to see your cards no more than at 30%. unless you pay off montly.

The formula used is a secret, but it is an overall picture. This is a link to an article about how credit scores are calculated.
