You used to be able to file every 6 years under the old law. I heard that
they changed that to every 8 years in the new law? Is this true?

Yep. Now you can't file more then every 8 years. BUt frankly, if you
file more then once, you didn't learn from past mistakes (Excluding
medical)

Does the new 8 year time limit apply only to those who file under the new
bankruptcy laws or does it apply to everyone? I filed for bankruptcy two
years ago. Do the old rules apply to me or the new ones? In other words, can
I file again in 4 years or do I have to wait for 6 years? (Not that I'm
planning on it mind you, I just like to know my rights.)
