If you have an account that has been reported negatively, may or may not
been charged off and then is sold to another company and that company
reports you negatively, what rights do you have? Are they allowed to treat
the one debt as two separate debts? Do they have to make reference to each
other so that people know that they are the same account? When 7 years are
up for the original account, can both account removed?
