Remember how a couple of months I received an offer for a no-annual
fee Platinum Master Card from Providian? This time around it was
Capital One. Again, as a lark, I applied. Unlike the generous offer of
a credit limit of $1,500 from Providian, the cheapskates of Capital
One gave me a credit limit of only $1,000. As was the case with the
Providian Card, I did not activate it, of course. But still, you would
think that my being two years into Chapter 13 would have meant
something to them?
