Hello,
I have a question and this seems like a knowledgeable group to ask. Should
I sign a consent form for health care that has a clause stating that I
relinquish my right to homestead exemption? If necessary I can post the
exact clause here for review.

All other things being equal - quality of treatment, payment terms, etc -
no, it doesn't seem like a good idea.
