In about 30 seconds, I'll reach the 3-year limit on my UK bankruptcy and
will be automatically discharged (pause for large sigh of relief).
What are the implications as far as applying for a bank account? I'd like
to start the slow process of rebuilding my credit rating and I know that the
credit reference agencies will keep records of my bankruptcy for a long
time, so is it worth applying at all, or would I be better off just sticking
to my Building Society savings account?
Many thanks.
