Can anyone here advise me on this? I want to petition for bankruptcy,
but because I'm unemployed and have no savings I can't raise the £310
Official Receiver's fee. A debt advisor told me that there are
charities that can help with this and afvised me to go to the
Citizen's Advice Bureau, but they couldn't find any such charities.

This advisor was adamant that such charities do exist, and I
eventually tracked one down, but unfortunately, to qualify for this
one you need to get your gas or electricity from a certain energy
provider (which my landlord doesn't).

I've tried ploughing through the big charities directories in my
library but it's like looking for an needle in a haystack, and the
charities I've written off to up to now have all drawn a blank.

So, if anyone here knows of a charity, trust, etc, that helps fund
people's bankruptcy petitions, I'd be very grateful if they'd reply
here or to my email address. Thanks.
