Fulton County Judge Nina Hickson forced to take leave in the matter of DFCS,
DFACS finding of neglect in her leaving her adopted 4 yo child home alone, to
wander the streets.
A Judicial Inquiry Board will further investigate.
Most parents in the community are outraged, since they know what would happen
to them in such a case.
It also would be interesting to note if a thorough and systematic search was
conducted by DCFS, DFACS for the child's family, kin or relatives before
awarding this child to the Judge who commonly oversees DFACS cases.
Was this a case of conflict of interest?
