I'm looking for ways to avoid BK, but don't want to get sucked into any
scams. I found one company promising to eliminate debt using the "Fair
Credit Act" (or something like that)- which only applies if the credit card
company engages in inappropriate behavior.
I recently found the following web site which seems to promise similar
results without indicating how, except to say they use Federal Law????
Here is the web site. http://69.6.21.247/zerobalanceyourcreditcards.htm I
would appreciate comments from anyone with a law background or experience
with this approach.

If you're late on your payments and they report it, then it's true and it's
legitimately on your report. You can't have it removed. Let me guess, you
pay them a fee and they "clean up" your report? Don't do it! It's probably
a scam.
