Can anyone tell me what is necessary to do a " face sheet filing " for a chapter 7?

You really need a lawyer. Most bankruptcy attorneys provide a free initial
consultation.

I don't know for sure, but I think what you are referring to is an initial
filing of the first 2 pages or so of the bankruptcy petition. Then you have
a very short time after that to file the rest of the forms. If the rest
aren't filed on time, your bankruptcy petition is automatically dismissed.

But even filing just the initial pages could be a big mistake for you if you
haven't already talked with a lawyer about your case. Sometimes, the
decision of "when" to file can be almost as important as the decision of
"whether" to file.

So, again, see a lawyer. I am not a lawyer, so these are just my personal
opinions.

The requirements for a "bare bones" or "thin" petition vary from state to
state.
