DFACS managed to keep a lid on this for a month, but somehow the story leaked
out.
Fulton County Judge's adopted daughter found wandering alone at night.
Juvenile court judge probed-Fulton jurist's daughter, 4, was found in street
Atlanta police and the state agency responsible for protecting children are
investigating an incident involving the chief judge of the Fulton County
Juvenile Court after her 4-year-old daughter was found wandering the street
shoeless and alone late one night in November.
According to police reports, Judge Nina Hickson's child was picked up Nov. 29
on an East Point street while her mother ran an errand at Hartsfield-Jackson
International Airport. The child, Wesley Victoria Hickson, was rescued by a
passer-by who spotted her and called authorities. East Point police contacted
Atlanta police, who returned the girl to her mother.

This baby is ADOPTED. She took someone else's child, and is now proceeding to
act as the parent . I wonder if the MOM who was TPRed loved this little girl
and is in the same situation we are in?

National Adoption Month in Georgia events will conclude with National Adoption
Day on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Chief Presiding Judge Nina Hickson of the Fulton
County Juvenile Court will finalize more than 35 adoptions in her courtroom on
that day.

Juvenile Court, Judge Sanford Jones is passing the torch to his successor,
Judge Nina Hickson. Judge Jones served as the Chief Judge from June of 1999
until May of 2002 and will continue to oversee the completion of the new
Juvenile Court, which is scheduled to open in January 2003. Thanks to Judge
Jones for his unyielding dedication and service to the children and families of
Fulton County!

This guys department took the report and then returned the child to her mother.
If this had been your child or mine, they would have called CPS and had the
child taken to emergency protective custody while they ascertained the true
facts, and CPS would make life a total hell for this stupid woman. But a JUDGE
is ABOVE the law???
