Keith did it again, and god did I fuuuuuuuck up big-time this round.
Some say I should blame myself, but I was honestly duped by a
so-called 'financial advisor' who told me that I could do what I was
doing without any repercussions... in fact he claimed I was merely
exploiting a 'loophole' that so many others have taken advantage of in
the past.
But Uncle Sam sees it differently. Apparently is is ILLEGAL to
knowingly form a corporation, spend a ****load of $$, then declare
bankruptcy and just start up another fly by night company.
Now I'm looking at serious time in the butt hut if I don't get some
GOOD advice NOW. What should I do? Have any of you debtors in here
done this in the past? How did you guys get away with the scams that
you were pulling. This is amongst friends, and every bit of advice
will help me out, so please - HELP ME OUT!

If you are serious about needing advice (which is hard to tell by your post)
you don't ask this question on a newsgroup, you hire an attorney.

Keith:
Sounds as if you need to speak with a criminal defense attorney
*immediately*.

It isn't meant to be legal advice and you shouldn't treat it as
such. If you want legal advice, speak with a local lawyer
familiar with your state's laws who can review *all* of the facts
and the law applicable to your situation.

I don't think anyone who's into "pulling scams" posts here. You're
inviting people to publicly confess criminal acts, which leads one to
believe you are either a troll or an ineffectual investigator.

You won't get any sympathy from me. Since you committed a FEDERAL
offense, the sentence guidelines are quite stiff. However, you
probably made enough money in your "scam" that will enable you to hire
a good attorney to get you the best deal and you probably will only
get probation. There are many in prison who have done FAR less
without cost or injury to others, who have been given max sentences
allowable by law for their "crime".

First of all, I don't think anyone here has pulled any scams to
willfully defraud a creditor by using the bankruptcy courts and laws of
incorporation as a weapon of sorts. But, I do believe that those accused
of crimes are entitled to a vigorous defense. So, go hire a good
criminal defese attorney now. I wish you the best of luck, but somehow I
think you should be packing your bags for a long getaway.
