Brett., I'm not filing at all. I just wondered what would happen if I
stop paying most of the credit cards??? Thank's

Apart from the calls and letters, they can sue you, and if they
get a judgment, can garnish your wages (if any) and attach your
property.

You raise an interesting point here.

While a number of my Chapter 7 clients are, in fact, judgment
proof, they come to me because they just can't deal with the
calls and letters any more. Filing for bankruptcy gives them
peace of mind, which is worth its weight in gold.

didn't mention.
