If you want to keep "current" with your landlord, you need to make the
payment on time without the monthly statement from your landlord. You
are correct that during a BK, your landloard cannot send you bills any
more. If you wait and see what your landlord will do without paying
them, you are asking to be evicted. You need to keep the
communication open with your landlord.

Now because of the filing they will be unable to send me a monthly statement. Should I wait to hear from them or should I call them and let them know I want to continue with my "always on time" payments for the remaining 7 months? Or is it best to wait and see what they do?

Actually, it is perfectly proper for the landlord to send bills
for *post-petition* rent, just not pre-petition obligations.
