Can creditors garnish military pension

Don't forget.., to have a military pension these days you "must" have a bank
account for "direct deposit" of the pension funds. And the "account" is
what the creditors can and do screw with.., you are pretty well screwed in
that regard.
But the light at the end of the tunnel is, the bank can not "legally"
release the funds absent a "court order" from the BK court. But be careful,
and write a letter to your bank (hand deliver if you can) advising them of
their responsibility and duty in this regard.
Still if it is a IRS "Notice of Lien" (which is not an "order") even when
no lien has issued.., the GD banks will toss your money to whomever, and
give you the finger
