Why would our atty not allow me to claim my business expenses.
200 per month. Right now my business is not making enough to cover but will soon in the future. California Chapter 13. They also didnt was us to have cell phone or internet. Both are important to keep my business running.

If the business is a corporation or LLC, it is a separate legal
entity, and its expenses are not yours. Other than that, and not
being familiar with the details of your case, it is impossible to
say why you can't claim them.

It isn't meant to be legal advice and you shouldn't treat it as
such. If you want legal advice, speak with a local lawyer
familiar with your state's laws who can review *all* of the facts
and the law applicable to your situation.

No, its sole proprietor. Approx $75 income per month, expenses are $200 per
month so its not breaking even. But as the seasons change so does my
income. I make most of my money during the fall/winter holiday season. It
is a party staffing company. I run it out of my home and take deductions
for my home business every year. I always get a big refund and even that
would go the the trustee so what could they complain about! I don't see how
they could not allow normal operation expenses considering this may end of
being my only source of income someday. They would just want to put me out
of business, that doesnt make sense for Chapter 13. It's whole purpose is
to protect some of your assets right?

I don't know why your attorney is not allowing these expenses.
Why don't you tell him/her these things?
