My 341 meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday. What kind of questions can
I expect to be asked?

The actual questions vary, but the intent is basically the same- the trustee
wants to find out if you have transferred or hidden any assets that might be
used to pay off creditors, or abused the rules in any other substantial way.
In Chapter 7 cases, though, there are usually few non-exempt assets
available, otherwise the filer would probably not being filing in the first
place. :-) Coupled with the fact that creditors, except sometimes for
Sears, rarely show up at these meetings, and they are pretty much an quick
formality.

In NY, they seem to like to ask you what was your last major purchase, and
this sometimes throws my clients, even though I tell them to be ready for
it. I think people get nervous when they have to talk to the trustee, which
really isn't necessary- it's nothing to worry about.
