If a relative purchases a gift card or stored value card for me, what
problems, if any, can result from this transaction if only 2 weeks from
discharge of Ch. 7?

I guess that technically it is an asset that should be listed on
the Schedules. As far as what problems this might cause, it would
depend on the amount of the card and the exemptions available.
