Just a warning to all step mom's out there! Children of divorced parents can be extremely manipulative, they learn at a very young age how to pit one parent against the other. I know that in my situation, I was sucked in to believe everything that came out of my step daughters mouth only to be thanked with the nightmare I am living right now. And if the ex-wife on your end is anywhere near as nasty as the one on mine, be especially careful. It is very hard being a step mom. We had my teenage stepdaughter living with us because that is what she said she wanted more than anything, it lasted 7 months, and now she is back with her mom and they together are trying to ruin our lives. Making up lies and getting restraining orders, calling the police for absolutely no reason, and dragging us into court weekly! If there is anyone out there who has been where I am, let me know how you dealt with this please. I don't them to break up my marriage, but it's getting to be too much!!
