my brother is going through eeoc on his own. The EEOC sent out charges of title VII discrimination charges. What happens now if company does not even respond to charges from EEOC after time period to do so has gone by? Thanks

Your brother needs to ask the EEOC office handling his charge how the office will proceed. No one here can provide that information.

EEOC will probably try to get both parties togather for a volintary mediation. After they notify the company theyll try to work with the company for probably the first 90 days. after that they will probaly send it to a investigator were in probably a year or to they will investigate it in the mean time he may want to start saving for a lawyer. There is no statue of limitation time line as far as i know until a differnt stage of this.

I filed my charges in febuary 2005 still waiting for my investigator to do somthing. I filed one on (deleted by moderator) because (deleted by moderator) kept put his hand were they dont be long.
