My Brother heard through a trusted source that he is being investigated for sexual discrimination. He has not been told anything about this and unfortunatly his boss is the one telling others about it but not him. He's confused about this and feels he should be told. He cannot tell his boss he knows because of loyality to his source. Is'nt it required to tell the person they are being investigated by law? He works for a fortune 500 CO and he is now going through CO policy as we speak.

Thanks for your time.

There is no law that specifies when, or even if, an employee has to be notified that he is being investigated. Sometimes such notification could be completely counterproductive.
