I was recently fired after almost 1.5 years with this company. They called me in one day and said I was fired due to an e-mail I sent my supervisor that was only partial recieved, so they say..the other reason was I was on PTO the week I had Jury Duty for 1 week, which I requested pto and was approved. This was in April, they now are holding my pay check until I turn in some paperwork, ( that was turned in in March) for the month of March. This has nothing to do with my paycheck. If they lost the paperwork, that is their problem, I was fired and am not going to do their leg work. However, them holding my check is a problem, can they legally do this???

Why did you find it necessary to ask this question a second time? I already told you they could not do this. If you had additional details, you could just as easily have posted them on the first thread instead of starting up a second thread for the same question.

No, they cannot hold your paycheck. In Oklahoma, your final pay must be released no later than the next regular payday after your last day of work. If they do not do so, you can file a complaint for unpaid wages with the state DOL.

If you have still more questions, that is fine, but do NOT open a third thread.
