My wife has been working as a full time state employee since November 05 so she has not completed her probationary period yet. Ever since she has started her supervisor has had it out for her and has been plotting to get her fired (this morning she told my wife “it would be easy to wave bye-bye to you”) I myself have been a state employee for over 19 years at another agency and know that there are polices against this kind of harassment however the administration refuses to do anything. My wife is a hard worker and never had any problems like this at any other jobs. She has been written up for doing more than she is suppose to do, splitting staff by talking to another staff member about her problems at work, not being at her work station when she is away doing things that apply to her job (like making copies, filling paperwork and getting wing supplies), being bossy because she ask someone to do something (that they are suppose to be doing) because she was told by her supervisor that was not her job to list a few. She and I are at our wit’s end and don’t know what to do with this catch 22. Help!!!!
P.S. They can’t keep this position filled because of this same problem.
