My husband told me just a little bit ago that he was kicked by a coworker. He was down on his knees getting something and the coworker came around him and kicked his leg so it shot out at a bad angle, he has arthritis in his hip and the coworker had been making fun of him for limping. My husband went to the supervisor who talked to the employee, who told the supervisor it was an accident so the supervisor let it go. Husband said there is no way it was an accident, he had to walk around him to do it. The coworker has been laughing about it all day. I told hubby to go to supervisors boss and that we will need to file a complaint with HR tomorrow. My husband had a horrible accident at work last fall, totally the companies fault, and I hate for them to think he is a problem employee, he works hard, twice as hard as the rest but he seems to think they will try to get rid of him at the first opportunity. I told him, that would look like retribution and they will not want that, they have yet to make final settlement on accident and he will have some retained disability. Is there something else that we need to do?
