If you're able to make the payments, but just can't come up with the delinquency, then have you called the mortgage company and asked if they'll agree to a re-payment plan?

Most mortgage companies have "work out" departments or forbearance departments and maybe you can work out a payment plan of some kind with them. They do not have to work anything out with you, but you should try and seek that out. You also may want to consider consulting with a local bankruptcy attorney depending on your overall situation, as this may be a way to stay foreclosure, but also to address repayment and try to get something worked out. But you should try to get soem professional help and assessment about what you can do legally, and a bankruptcy attorney may be a good place to start.
