could i please have the statue number on the law concerning withholding final paycheck..my employer is refusing to give me my last paycheck because there are some uniforms that wasnt turned in...i dont know if they were lost or miscounted or where they are at...

If you were discharged, here is the statute. As you can see, there is no exception in the law that allows the employer to hold the final paycheck because company property has not been returned.

If you resigned, they have until the regularly scheduled pay day for the pay period that includes your final work day.

Or you can just file a claim for unpaid wages with the state Dept. of Labor.
