Is there any law in michigan that enables an emancipated person to take a road test???
I am a 16 year old mother whom starts school on may 3rd. I know that in MI you can pay to take your road test when your 18. Is there any way around that if you are emancipated?...

I never went to drivers ed. It ment money I didnt have. Now I have a daughter. Ironic or what?

A snip of information....I started driving when I was really little. You know, sitting on your parents lap untill you could see over the dash.
Sad to say, I do drive. I D.D. every once in a while....better then letting a drunk driver hit a car with a kid in it, right? (im a mom...what can I say)

So, any help would be so appreciated.
Thank you for your time!

I suggest that you call the DMV. In most states, you get a probationary license until you are 18yo for a period, before you go for your drivers test and can drive alone.
See http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-1627_8669_8998---,00.html and click on graduated driver license optios for those under age 18
