Tansportaion field in California with corporate in Virginia. I've been at my present job for about 5 years this september and recently I've been training with another coworker in another department, she is nasty when it comes to me, she tells me i'm slow and likes to belittle me in front of every one. Also she talk about my mistakes and misunderstandings to everyone there. She tells me and every one how she does not want me there and how she cant understand why I'm so slow, I've talked to management and they have done nothing. I've reported it to corporate human resource and they have said to take care of it but now it has come to the point were I just can seem to want to go to work or even walk by that office, I even gotten sick to my stomach and left work crying because of her diragatory remarks and harassment.

It appears obvious the company is prepared to accept this type of behavior from this employee. Since such treatment, however inappropriate, derogatory, or just plain rude, is not generally illegal (unless it is based solely upon a protected characteristic, such as race, age, gender, religion, etc.), you have no recourse in the law.

So, you're going to have to decide that she's not worth your getting sick over, exude self-confidence and just know yourself that she's a rude person, and that what she says has no merit, or you will have to find another job.
