View Full Version : Making me quit-California

I am a manager at a retail store in California, and have worked here for 5 years. My new boss wrote me up the other day, and on the last page (which I didn't sign) it states that if I do not complete specific taks by a specific date, "I will terminate myself" I see this as a way for them to not have to pay me unemployment, and I am wondering if they can legally make me sign something that says I will quit?
If you can please help, or give me the law that says that this is not legal.
