How long does a tennant have to vacate once notice has been given by a landlord?
Downstairs neighbors have been loitering on the front stairs, police have been called to property countless times because of disputes (there are several people in the apartment).
Mangement let it slip that they are evicting the tennants.
Thanks for any input!

VA code 55-248.31 Noncompliance With Rental Agreement
If a tenant commits a breach which is not remediable, the landlord may serve a written notice on the tenant specifying the acts or omissions constituting the breach and stating that the rental agreement will terminate upon a date not less than 30 days after (receipt of notice).
If the tenant breachs rental agreement or causes a criminal or willful act which may put others in harm to health or safety, which is not remediable, the landlord may terminate and evict tenant immediately and proceed to obtain possession of premises.

Depends on their lease terms and the notice that was sent.

I do appreciate the post. I'm new, so I thought that I was going to be just ignored.
It's nice to see that I wasn't.
Thanks again.
