I work at Sonic in Arkansas and I was told that our break time isn't nearly as long as it should be. If we work under four hours we don't get a break, which is completely understandable. But if we work longer than that, up to eight hours we get only one fifteen minute break. If we work ten hours or more only two fifteen minute breaks. Our managers say that by law that they are not required to even issue breaks. And I have been told by many people that this isn't true, so I was looking for some answers and I would greatly appreciate it to receive some.
Thanks,
Andrea

Your managers are correct. Neither Federal nor Arkansas law requires your employers to provide you with any breaks at all. Whether to provide breaks, how many, when, how long and under what circumstances they can be taken are entirely up to the employer.

There is no Arkansas law requiring either rest or meal breaks.
