Hi,
I think perhaps I am on the wrong list. I was wanting to talk with others that
have had a somewhat rocky relationship with their adopted adult child.
Please direct me as to where to go. I know this is quite unusual but it is my
situation.
Bonnie
Thank You and May God Bless You
Many things are talked about here but you gotta give people some time to
post here. Don't expect a response asap.

It's difficult for anyone to advise you on a Usenet group about complex
issues such as this. Is there not a family or relationship counselling
service in your area that could help? I do doubt from what you have said,
that this is particularly an adoption issue.

IMO it appears you would be having these problems with a biological child
as well. The fact that he is adopted just adds another dimension. There
was obviously lots going on during his formative years that you each have a
different perspective on.
