Your employer may pay you early before the payday, but this is up to the employer. Your employer is within its rights to wait until the regular payday to pay you your final wages. sassytatertot 04-24-2006, 12:45 PM I recently gave my resignation to a company i worked for for 3+years. I get a base pay monthly and commissions on my sales. After resignation they are holding 2 commissions that have been closed on and are due to me. They want to pay me these on our May payday of the 31st but after April 28th I will no longer be on payroll. Can they do this? :( |
