I work for a foreign based company. They have recently decided to change their policy and require that we work overtime with only an hour notice. Until this point we have been given a 24 hour notice. Most of us have families and/or other obligations after work. We don't mind working overtime when we know enough ahead of time so we can make arrangements. What are the laws in Kentucky for overtime notices? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

There is no requirement in any state that you receive any notice at all before being requested/required to work overtime. Obviously, it would be nice if the employer gave you as much notice as possible, but there is no law requiring them to do so.
