GoAway presses Marley:
I'll ask it onemore time: If given the choice between seeing a child DEAD, abandoned in adumpster or that same child adopted anonymously, which would you like tosee???>>
It's a dumb question. It is a loaded question. To answer it one would have to
assume babies left at "safe havens" were saved from the dumpster. While you
might make that assumption, many others do not.

OK, I'll ask another loaded question: Is there any, possibly ANY
distinct possibility that a Safe Haven "might" and again, I say
"might" save the life of a child? Answer that one, Marley.

Another obvious answer: yes.
So what? Will you now insist that the programs are worthwhile "if only one
life is saved.?"
Then let me ask a question in return:
Is there any possibility that a Safe Haven law might lead to the death of the
mother?

But J, the mother isn't what matters in these SH laws. It's the baby....the
baby that they can SAVE and RESCUE by adoption.
