View Full Version : Searching for birth family

Hi. I am adopted, and I would like to know if this is a good group to ask
advice about
searching for my birth family. Any help would be great.

Thanks.
Wayne

Urrr...yes and no, kinda depends on how discerning you are about what advice
you accept. It's not a search group, alt.adoption.searching once fulfilled
that function but no longer does due to the invasion of the search war
loonies. This isn't really what you'd call a support group either, but it's
a good place to learn a lot about the effects adoption has had on peoples'
lives, both good and bad. It is also a place to discuss international
politics and cuisine or any other subject that takes your fancy.
