Birthmom age was 14, name not known. Birth fatehr was 17, he might
not know about me at all.Name not known Living in or around Chicago

Birthmom was living with her father and stepmom. Her mother was never
married to her father.

I belive I am Puerto Rican and Mexican Descent.

Birthmom kept a picture of me.

You guys are not gonna believe it!!!! I called the attorney that
helped open my records and told her about what's going on and she
said the agency is allowed to do that! I couldn't believe it! She
said this agency is known for doing that and that the court gives
them a short period of time to keep them happy, so she told me to
give them at the most 6 weeks, after 6 weeks she said to call the
agency and tell them that i was taking them to court if I did not get
my papers right away, it doesn't seem very fair (or legal) that I
have to wait when I have a court order, but I guess this is the way
it goes, I've waited for 25 years, I suppose another 6 or 7 weeks
won't kill me right? It is really sad to realize what adoptees must
go through to find ANYTHING about their birth families. I thought my
search had been a nightmare, but when I started getting emails from
people telling me their stories I realized my search has been a walk
in the park so far, pretty sad, isn't it? I hope that every one of
you finds who you are looking for. Thanks for all your help and
