I started a new job with a large corporation about 7 months ago and this week out of the blue I was told that I would have to move to a city 200 miles away within the next 3 months. The company will pay for my relocation expenses so money is not the issue. However I never signed on to work in a different city, let alone a city in which I would never want to live. Additionally there is absolutly no way for my significant other to leave her job and move to a new city within this time frame. She has a very good job and doesn't want to leave but it's too far to compute on a daily basis. I'm wondering if there are any laws or restrictions on forcing an employee to relocation.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
