I left my ex in May of 99 he wanted the house and I wanted the kids we were divorced a few years later(he kept refusing to go to the court dates). He was ordered supervised visits because of abuse, I can count on one hand how many times he has seen the boys ages now 14 & 11, he dosent send or call on holidays and is about 25,000 in debt to us for CS. Ihe hasnt seen the boys since 2/8/01 thats 5years I am having a hard time to make it now as I am on full disiablity from 5back operations. How do you get CS? The Dept.of Human services said they cant get any money from him well why not?? I have to pay for the things they need and get no help from anyone How do I get the ball rolling to fix this and get some support?

I would go and file for child support enforcement. Here in michigan it is a 60$ fee then they get the ball rolling issue a court apperance, then if they do not get a payment they may susspend his drivers lisence ect.. You can not sign off rights unless there is a step parent adoption.
