In California, is there any upper limit to daily/weekly hours required for exempt managers? Everytime my husband gets anywhere close to 50 hrs, they hire someone so that he is back to over 65 hrs/week. Even with 12-14 hrs a day, he is told that he is not working enough. Thanks

No, there is no state which places a maximum number of hours for exempt employees, and few states place a limit on non-exempt employees.

65 hours a week is a lot, I'm not saying otherwise. But even in those very few states where there is a limit for non-exempt employees, the law permits more than that. 65 is not outrageous.
