Is anyone aware of how to go about dealing with payments for doctors, extra curricular activites and school payments. Some are required by the courts, but we want 1/2 the tax right off what we can. She wants us (husband and I) to pay HER for 1/2 of everything. I told my husband I think we should have the courts put in writing anything above child support we have to pay is billed to us. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

Child Support = all the financial support for a child. Usually in a decree it will state that medical and daycare expenses are to be split 50/50 by each parent above the child support. But other expenses, such as for activities, etc. are what the child support is for, to go towards basic expenses and any other expenses. If your decree does not state specifically that you are to pay 1/2 of those costs, then you do NOT have to pay them. If she wants you to pay for them, she'll have to modify the existing order to have it included.

also I wanted to add that when paying for 1/2 of court ordered expenses (such as doctor bills), she must give you a receipt of payment first - or a copy of the total bill.
