i am part of a big restaurant chain management in a small town in ky. I had a very rough time a few weeks ago (mentally) at work the pressure built and i broke down crying anyway my supervisor said i should go to the Dr. so i did the Dr. put me off for 10 days. My husband turned in the statements. i called once to say i would be off and i proceeded to go to my Dr. visits and stayed to myself trying to rest and recoup to return. then after 6 days off i get a phone message from the very one who suggested i go to the dr. that i have to call or turn in my keys by 6p.m that day because she does not like the way i am handling this situation or the way i am acting. that they do not know what is going on etc.... i felt so degraded and like now i am a threat to them or what// Must i report to them my condition? the whole thing was embarrassing enough and i just wanted to stay away from any stressful situation.Needless to say the message put me in a real downswing. ARE THEIR ACTIONS LEGAL?
