Ok.....basically im 17.....im taking a GED test next month so i can start college and im trying to straighten my life and help my sister out (i live with her) I tried to look for a job....but the jobs that im best at cant accept cause SC law requires a legal age of 18 to work around heavy machinary or that sort of stuff, though I would love to be able to, is there any way to get a work permit to allow me to work in hazardous areas? I appreciate it.

If the law says you have to be 18, then that's your final answer.
