I have been away since Friday to attend the funeral of a close cousin
who was killed in a car accident on Thursday.

At the time there were severe mail problems and I put myself on no
mail. This morning I changed it back to "digest" but have now
received nothing today.

Could one of the moderators check to see that I am on "digest?" Or
maybe there has just beeen no digests sent today.

Thanks

I can not remember the exact dateof her birth...but I do believe it
was in sept. I know that sounds awful but it was such a hard time
that I blocked alot of things out. I have sent information to
Richmond and I was told it was put in her file. They told me that
now I just have to wait and see if my daughter contacts them and
wants to search.
Thank you,
Susan

Hi I'm confused too. I am a birthmother searching for the child I had

in
Winter Park, Florida September 1967. When I saw your post I thought
you
were and adoptee searching for your bmom....sorry...I sit for hours
looking
into different sites...I did just find something new I'd like to share

with
you. (Well, practically everything is new to me as I'm new to
searching on
the Internet...never knew all this existed!)

Have you ever seen this site?

The American Adoption Congress is composed of individuals, families
and
organizations committed to adoption reform. We represent all those
whose
lives are touched by adoption.

http://www.americanadoptioncongress.org/state-reps.htm

They provide a lot of information I had not seen before. Hope it's
helpful...sorry for the mistake in information...and good luck in your
search...susan

As usual Johnny it is simply briliant .
They also do not tell adoptees who
are searching an open state that they can get
their records nor do they inform people which
states use C.I.`s .
Too busy chasing butterflies I suppose .
